Fill up a shoebox with gifts for a child and bring the Good News to someone across the world! Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.

For St. Michael’s Members: Fill a Shoebox, and/or Volunteer During Drop Off Week

We encourage everyone to pick up an empty shoebox (or several!) in the church lobby and fill it with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Inside the box are instructions, gift suggestions, and a prayer card. You may return your boxes as soon as you have them filled, but no later than November 17th. When you return the shoebox, be sure to choose a cross to put inside, provided by St. Michael’s knitters.

If you are not a shopper, you may go to Operation Christmas Child’s website and “Build a Box” online. For $25 you can choose items to fill a shoebox that can be sent to difficult to reach areas of the world.
