ABOUT OUR CHURCH
,What is the church? It may seem like a strange question but it is one that is being wrestled with a great deal as Christianity changes its place in society. Churches, like people, seem to be in search of significance. Why do we exist? How can we be relevant?
At St. Michael’s we believe that ministry is rather simple: love God and love your neighbor as yourself. We trust that if we love God in response to His great love for us, and we love our neighbor because they are God’s beloved creation, then we will have purpose, relevance, and significance.
St. Michael’s is a thriving community of faith dedicated to loving God and loving our neighbors. In order to exemplify this we seek to:
- KNOW and GROW in God’s love
- LIVE JOYFUL HOPE with our neighbors
- SUPPORT and EQUIP each other
Whether you are checking us out for the first time or are a long-time participant in the life of St. Michael’s, we pray you will find us a welcoming, active community of believers who desire to care for you and the neighbors around us.
