Children’s Ministry (Birth-5th grade)
The Mission at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church is welcoming and loving our neighbors in response to God’s love. Our children’s ministry is a space where welcoming and loving our neighbors and each other happens. We are a safe place where everyone is welcomed and the love of Christ is shared with all.
This fall we are offering an at-home Sunday school option called Connect Kids at Home as well as in-person Connect Kids on three Sundays in Nov/Dec (see below for more details.) For the at-home option, parents will be provided with resources that include Bible story teaching videos, Bible lessons you can do as a family, crafts, and music. In October, after the 9:30 parking lot service, children and families are welcome to stick around for an age-appropriate large group lesson outside. Register now for Connect Kids at Home
In-Person Connect Kids Option – Nov 1, Nov 15, and Dec 6 only
Starting November 1, there will be a 9:00am service in the worship center. Connect Kids Sunday school will follow at 10:00am on Nov 1, Nov 15, and Dec 6. We require that you register for each Sunday your child(ren) will attend. You can register here. Registration closes the Friday before each Sunday at 10:00am. You can sign up now for as many Sundays as you plan to attend. Thank you for helping us in this way so we can plan ahead.
Connect Families is an open/informal discussion group for parents who desire an opportunity to receive encouragement and hope, engage in discussion, and grow in faith and knowledge with other Christian parents in the midst of the pandemic. Led by Rachel Ash, Michelle Totten, and Matt Connelly. Two date options: Sunday mornings at 10 in the Worship Center, and Tuesday evenings at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Offered on the first Sunday of each month or first Tuesday of each month.
